Point of Grace(new) The Shook Russo Quartet featuring Greg Gisbert

The Shook Russo Quartet has developed an incredible, unique sound by merging the diverse backgrounds of each of its fine musicians into one voice. The result is a whirlwind of grooves, melodies, and diverse textures that is a true delight.

Frank & Amy perform together often as the backbone of a rhythm section, and are highly sought after as a unit by many different groups for their intuitive collaboration and relentless grooves. Their mutual trust and respect for each other's musicianship is the foundation for their remarkable partnership. Consequently, this quartet has become an amazing vehicle for them to compose, explore, and perform creative, original music. The quartet, which performs on a regular basis, includes Amy's husband Pat Shook on saxophone and Tim Young on piano.

Here, the group is joined by Greg Gisbert, one of the leading trumpeters in the international jazz scene who performed frequently with Buddy Rich,Woody Herman, Gary Burton, the Mingus Epitaph, and more.
