The Mike Stephens Project

imageA native Philadelphian, Mike Stephens grew up in the heart of West Philly. Music was always a part of Mike's life and during his stint in the U. S. Air Force, he honed his musical skills while touring with several musical ensembles and won several instrumental and solo awards.

After his military service, Mike settled in the Washington, D.C. area, connecting with local musicians and soon formed his own band, MSP (Michael Stephens Project). A popular choice in many venues and events in this region, Mike returns to the Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival after an unforgettable performance in 2002.
