TALIANO'S JAZZ JAM

Taliano's Jazz Jam is hosted by jazz vocalist Allison Bennett and features Taliano's Jazz House Band with Bill Washburn on keyboard, Ishmael James West on upright bass, and Ian Dylan on drums. They are all high quality musicians and they welcome other vocalists and musicians to sign up and share the stage with them. The Taliano's Jazz Band and the Thursday night Jazz Jam sessions are attracting jazz lovers, media representatives, musicians, and music industry people from around the area.

Taliano's has the best pizza in the area and countless other affordable and tasty Italian, vegetarian and American dishes, a fully stocked bar, great nightly live entertainment, football on Sundays, ample free parking, and a friendly atmosphere. Directions: 2 blocks east of Takoma Metro stop on the Red Line and the DC border of Eastern Avenue. From points north - take Rt 270, Rt 95 south, or BW Parkway to the Capital Beltway Route 495 towards Silver Spring. Take New Hampshire Avenue exit towards Takoma Park and proceed to Eastern Avenue. Turn right on Eastern and travel to Laurel Avenue. Turn Right on Laurel, which becomes Carroll Avenue. From Virginia, use North Capitol St NW that becomes Blair Rd to Carroll Ave, turn right under metro bridge to 3rd light; see Taliano's straight ahead.
