Boasting tasteful arrangements by
Mike Crotty, In Another Lifetime introduces the listener to Maija's
singular approach to such Brazilian classics as Jobim's "Double Rainbow" and
the timeless "Agua de Beber", as well as such chestnuts as Harold Arlen's two
contributions, "Out of This World" and "A Sleepin' Bee" which bring yet another
flavor to the session. Maija's positively haunting title track is made even
more so by Roditi's luscious flugelhorn and Crotty's eerie bass flute."
